The Somalia NCD alliance participated in the quarterly meeting of the 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 (𝐍𝐂𝐃) 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, which was held in Mogadishu
The Technical Working Group meeting convened key partners, including Ministry of Health- Somalia ,WHO, IRC, and other international and national organizations, to strengthen coordination on non-communicable diseases.
Discussions focused on 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐂𝐃 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐂𝐃 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧, 𝐍𝐂𝐃 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐨𝐟 2025 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 2026.
The meeting emphasized strong collaboration to advance national NCD goals.
